These boots were made for gawking.  Yo My Booties, a line of pure angora baby booties that resemble fluffy clouds of cotton candy, has been quietly building up a cult following in Los Angeles since their designer, Kris Pettit, began making them three years ago.  Now, demand for the original booties has spawned some brand extension, in the form of a new collection of equally fuzzy sweaters, ponchos and berets.  The cozy booties ($60 at www.yomybooties.com) come in brilliant hues like pumpkin, pink and turquoise; sweaters and ponchos ($85 to $130, not shown) continue into toddler sizes; and berets ($45) are available for children up to 5.
