Yo My Booties began with the impending patter of little feet and a lot of spare time on my hands. Yes, I was pregnant.  I had always been a knitter, a sewer and a weaver since I was a little girl growing up in Louisville, Kentucky. I sewed my first shirt when I was five - for my doll.

So it was natural for me to knit for my new baby, Willa.  I made several pairs of the angora booties and gave them away to mothers at “Mommy and Me” yoga.  The response was immediate and amazing. Everybody loved them. People wanted more. I made more. Soon I charged for them. I couldn't keep up with the demand.  I found manufacturing in South America and worked on building the brand.

Now Yo My Booties offers other unique, beautiful apparel and accessories for babies and toddlers.
